What I enjoyed this term!!!!

This term we have been doing a lot of singing. We sing with Whaea Kathy on Monday’s. Whaea Kathy is a lot of fun because she makes it exciting for us. She has taught us alot of new songs but the songs I enjoy the most is the Rarotongan song and Si Ya Hama. My highlight for the term of course is singing with Whaea Kathy and I am going to miss her because she will not be back. BUT I am hoping she will come back.

Rugby Union

Rugby Union is a game played with a ball. The ball is shaped like a fish body. You don’t have to be skinny for this game you just have to be fit and know how to play. Rugby League is similar to rugby union but in rugby league you only get five tackles then you have to kick the ball in rugby union you place the ball on the ground. When you get a try you have to convert it. Convert means you have to kick the ball in the post. Rugby is played on a field that is measured exactly one hundred metres. The rules for rugby are no shoulder charge/no high tackles/no high fending/no forward passes/no tackling the person without the ball. That is how rugby union is played.

Dear Mrs Baker
I chose to write to you to explain why my dad deserves ‘A Caught Being Good Award’. He gives us money when we are struggling even though my parents are separated from each other. I love my dad from the bottom of my heart!
Yours Sincerely
